Ponte Maggio (Maggio Bridge) spans the stream Lima in the town of Bagni di Lucca. Being placed at the bottom of the valley leading to the territory of Pistoia, the bridge was of primary importance during the Middle Ages. It is a round-arched and imposing carriageway along which runs the road to Casoli. It was built by local masons using sandstone as building material, during the 14th century.
