The Risorgimento Museum occupies several rooms of the Palazzo Ducale and illustrates the period of Italian history between 1821 and WWI, known as Risorgimento, through a series of interesting exhibits. Some of them are particularly noteworthy, namely the flag of the "Carbonari", gift of the Province, the flags of the National Guard and of the XIIth battalion, as well as the relics of Garibaldi and Mazzini. Arms of different periods and from different countries are also on exhibition.
The Museum reopened, after restoration work, on the 17th of March.
